How does the facial skin change from 30?

After the age of 30, several processes come together that can contribute to skin aging. For example, cell regeneration slows down, the skin tends to become more dry and the skin’s natural “glow” slowly diminishes. The body’s own production of collagen and elastin also decreases. This in turn leads to a reduction in the skin’s elasticity and support, which means that the skin’s wrinkles cannot simply be smoothed out or plumped up again. So where previously expression lines became invisible again within seconds, they suddenly remain for several minutes or longer. If we also spend a lot of time in the sun, UV radiation not only reduces the regenerative power of the skin, but also highlights pigment spots at the same time. The result is: the complexion of the facial skin looks more irregular and less radiant.

The reason for this is that the skin regenerates during sleep and important processes such as the production of collagen are carried out. Moreover, a restful night not only revitalizes and relaxes your skin, but also allows you to perform each of your daily activities with more energy. 2. Moisturizing Face Care Products

In order to optimally support the facial skin from the age of 30 and thus prevent the formation of wrinkles, the elasticity of the skin should be increased. To achieve this goal, the natural moisture depots must be replenished. Care products containing the active ingredient urea are suitable for this purpose, for example. As a natural moisturizing factor, urea penetrates deep into the upper layers of the skin and provides intensive and long-lasting moisture. In addition, the skin’s protective barrier is strengthened and the skin is protected against dehydration. In addition, your facial care routine from the age of 30 should include ingredients that your skin can no longer produce itself in sufficient quantities. This includes, for example, hyaluronic acid, an ingredient responsible for storing moisture. Another important part of your skin care routine should be radical scavengers such as vitamins A, C, E, ferulic acid and others. As antioxidants, they cause regeneration and repair of skin cells damaged by e.g. UV light or environmental pollutants.

Hyaluron und Urea

In addition to a moisturizing day care, a rich cream for the night is also important for facial care from 30. The skin care ingredients contained can be particularly effective at night, as they literally help the skin while it sleeps. Moisturizing ingredients such as organic aloe vera or hyaluronic acid in a night cream are therefore particularly recommended.

3. Care from the Inside

Beauty comes from within. This is scientifically proven! Our diet has a significant impact on our skin… It is important to eat a balanced diet with enough fruits and vegetables, because the vitamins/antioxidants contained in them are important for cell regeneration and keeping the skin young. It is absolutely not advisable to smoke cigarettes – smoking is a major cause of skin aging! And besides that, of course, there are many other reasons to quit smoking. Alcohol also has a detrimental effect on the skin and should therefore only be consumed in small quantities.

In addition, it is advisable to eat less foods with a high glycemic index (sugar, wheat, meat, sausage) and few convenience foods or highly processed foods. These foods lead to increased sugar levels in the blood and to the storage of A.G.E.s (= Advanced Glycation Endproducts) in the skin, where they promote signs of aging. Incidentally, A.G.E.s also promote arteriosclerosis in other organs, e.g. in vascular walls, and contribute to the development of cardiovascular diseases.

Moderate coffee consumption  is probably without negative consequences for the skin. Although the caffeine contained in coffee causes decreased skin’s blood circulation, the antioxidants contained in coffee are beneficial to the skin’s ability to regenerate. Those who want to consume more antioxidants drink green or black tea.
